Be part of one of NZ's largest H&S training companies Safety 'n Action, New Zealand's leading workplace safety training provider, is seeking a dynamic Regional Training Manager who can blend training their own programmes as well as lead and support our Health & Safety Trainers across multiple locations. You will ensure that training delivery is aligned with our high standards and supports the development of a safer, more competent workforce in New Zealand.In this role, you'll be responsible for:Delivering top-tier training in workplace safetyLeading courses on fire safety, confined spaces, MEWP, heights, and moreManaging administrative tasks like evaluations and assessmentsManaging and mentoring Health & Safety Trainers across the Wellington area and surrounds.Driving consistent training practices and maintaining the quality of course deliverySupporting operational efficiency and effective scheduling of training sessionsSupporting the strategic growth of training services and ensuring customer satisfactionManaging relationships with key clients and stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet their health and safety needs.Providing training at sites as requiredWhat We're Looking For:Proven experience in a leadership role within the health and safetyStrong knowledge of workplace safety practices and New Zealand's Health & Safety legislationDemonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire Trainers across the Wellington area.Excellent organisational and communication skillsCompleted or working towards NZQA assessment qualification - US4098Ability to work collaboratively across departments and locationsExperience in training/teaching, in particular Hazardous substances, Confined Space, MEWP and Heights would be idealFlexibility and willingness to travel as requiredBenefits include:Transforming people's lives for the better.Professional development and career pathwayDiscounts at major retailers e.g. JB Hi-Fi, Carters, Dunkin' DonutsCompany vehicleDriver well-being initiativesWhy Safety 'n Action?With over 200 courses and 80,000 trainees annually, Safety 'n Action has a reputation for delivering industry-leading workplace safety training.
