We have an exciting and newly created opportunity available to join our Albany, Auckland based Support Centre as a Regional Trade Pricing Analyst.
This role will see you partner with Trade team members including the store network to maintain and optimize margin, accelerate profitable Trade and market share growth, while also assisting in driving improved customer experiences. Key to succeeding will be providing valuable reporting/ performance metrics, operational input and leadership around business tool utilization and creation.
What you'll deliver:

Margin improvement strategies e.g. in conjunction with Merch, Store, Market
Trade Pricing Matrix reviews and performance reporting
Continuous improvements, sharing wins to be able to scale for rest of the business and creating tools for work streams
Customer assignment reviews.

Your background will include:

Communicating clearly and directly with key stakeholders and influencing decisions
Experience with trade pricing matrices and the best practice management of them
High level of analytical literacy and understanding
B2B and/or retail analyst experience
You might have been a category assistant, assistant category manager, a pricing analyst in either the building industry, suppliers or other resellers.
Good industry experience in hardware, building supplies and B2B businesses. Having experience in pricing building supplies and products would be preferrable.
The ability to talk to, understand and manage margin for on account customers; having proven track record in margin analysis and optimisation.
Data visualization; experience in providing insight and tooling – having a proven track record for analysing data and understanding what it means. Experience in taking insight into action would be preferred
Business intelligence tools: Familiarity with BI tools to gather, process and analyse business information for decision making purposes.
