We are in need for a Regional Manager for the Upper North Island Region. The range of equipment serviced includes fruit labellers, pallet strappers, weighers, and produce bagging machines. Reporting to the general manager, this role is based on our modern Tauriko facility in Tauranga, We service equipment which stretches from Auckland to Opotiki to deliver on our reputation as one of the best service providers in the post-harvest sector. About the role Leading the Upper North Island service team along with contractors and third parties as required. Managing an annual installation, overhaul and programmed maintenance schedule. Ensuring that overhaul and maintenance standards are monitored and maintained. Ownership of FSS (Field Service Software) and software tools. Overseeing effective spare parts and purchasing operations, including forecasting and stock takes. Developing and upskilling the team. Administration: timesheet, leave requests, purchase orders, scheduling and forecasting. Participating in communication and knowledge sharing with your peers that run the other regions, external and internal stakeholders. Customer calls providing proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders. Driving H&S culture with the team. About you This role best suits an experienced motivated leader in the technical, or a service-related field with a tenacity to get things done and who pride themselves on delivering fantastic customer service. To be successful in this role you will need: Trade qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering with strong ability in the unqualified field. Exposure to the post-harvest machinery sector would be a strong advantage. Well evidenced at leading teams and individuals and developing them to be their best selves. Exposure to working closely with customers, through both good and not so good discussions. Experience with FSS (field service software) an advantage.
