You will be an integral member of the Route Food Services sales team and lead our high-performing Field Sales team spread across our Lower North Island, encompassing Tauranga down to Wellington region.As a people leader, you will spend valuable time in the field supporting your team which means there is some travel required.
We are open to your base being either Tauranga, Napier or Wellington.Key responsibilities include:The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is an integral member of the Field Sales team with management responsibilities for leading and inspiring a collaborative team culture.Manage, lead and direct your team to deliver against the RFS strategic goalsMaintain and develop strong and effective relationships with Field Sales customers and integrate and operate Goodman Fielder field operations seamlessly and effectively as one teamDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholdersLead our Regional Field Sales team to achieve sales/volume, margin and market share targets while providing customers with a high level of serviceDrive the GF strategy home in everything you doPushing your team outside of their comfort zone to continue developing themAbout You:5+ years' proven experience in a sales leadership role within FMCGExpertise in strategic planning and driving the overall business strategyStrong commercial acumen with a track record of successful new businessHave a good grasp of the current market and understanding customer landscapeExceptional communication skills and ability to negotiate high-value supply agreementsFull working rights in NZ and hold a current driver's licenseWhat we offerYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative environment.
