Our Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity for you to join as Regional Sales Manager within our Route Food Service business. You will be an integral member of the Route Food Services sales team and lead our high-performing Field Sales team spread across our Lower North Island, encompassing Tauranga down to Wellington region.

As a people leader, you will spend valuable time in the field supporting your team which means there is some travel required.

We are open to your base being either Tauranga, Napier or Wellington.

Key responsibilities include :

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is an integral member of the Field Sales team with management responsibilities for leading and inspiring a collaborative team culture.

Manage, lead and direct your team to deliver against the RFS strategic goals

Maintain and develop strong and effective relationships with Field Sales customers and integrate and operate Goodman Fielder field operations seamlessly and effectively as one team

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders

Lead our Regional Field Sales team to achieve sales / volume, margin and market share targets while providing customers with a high level of service

Drive the GF strategy home in everything you do

Pushing your team outside of their comfort zone to continue developing them

About You :

5+ years' proven experience in a sales leadership role within FMCG

Expertise in strategic planning and driving the overall business strategy

Strong commercial acumen with a track record of successful new business

Have a good grasp of the current market and understanding customer landscape

Exceptional communication skills and ability to negotiate high-value supply agreements

Full working rights in NZ and hold a current driver's license
