Regional Sales Manager - GMSV NZAs the Regional Sales Manager in New Zealand for General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV), you'll be joining the broader General Motors Australia & New Zealand (GM ANZ) team. Your purpose is to develop a strong and active partnership with the dealer network which fosters and embraces GM's One Team priority. You will work to improve customer retention and provide vehicle distribution support for the NZ dealer network while achieving volume and market share targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop sales and marketing strategies to reach volume targets for the region.Work side by side with Dealers to develop Sales Lead Generation plans and Customer Loyalty Generation Plans.Work with Dealers to identify key events in the local area to attend and promote the brand.Ensure that wholesale target is achieved through completion of regular allotment communication.Provide distribution support to the NZ Dealer network by assisting with Dealer inventory queries, managing NZ specific shipment updates, reallocations, and liaison with local port/transport providers as necessary.Maintain regular contact and communication with all Dealers in region, monitor and manage the performance against scorecard KPI's.Build strong relationships with Head Office teams to ensure all strategies impacting the Dealer Network are implemented.Understand and implement GMSV Sales and Marketing policies and procedures to the expected level.Support with local press and media, including managing local press vehicles and local marketing activations.This is a full time, ongoing position. About you You have at least 5 years' experience in zone or region Sales, and/or Aftersales operations or equivalent central office experience and you have had experience in supervision of mid-level or higher managers in automotive related activities.
