Competitive remuneration + benefits Influential position to drive growth K iwi-owned Brand - Aotearoa's largest farming co-operative Mo te whai waahi | About the opportunity Reporting to Carmen White, General Manager Field Sales, your key focus will be effective people leadership of our Eastern & Lower North Island region sales team.
This region covers Gisborne through to Wellington and includes Palmerston North.
The day to day will involve: Leading and developing a high performing and engaged sales team.
Spending at least half your week out on farm with the sales team.
Ensuring delivery of exceptional service levels and technical expertise to shareholders by driving on farm productivity and profitability.
Maintaining and growing our supplier and vendor relationships locally.
Development of a strategic plan about execution of your region's sales targets.
Working incessantly with our new technology and tools, FarmlandsPRO and CE.
Monitoring and measuring performance to target.
Actively being engaged in regionalised events and sponsorships to leverage sales.
This role requires credibility in technical sales and strong business acumen to enable breakthrough thinking to achieve and support our ambitious goals.
This is your opportunity to join our regional sales leadership team and champion best practice across the Eastern & Lower North Island region.
Travel is required and a Farmlands vehicle is provided.
Your location can be anywhere within the region.

You'll also bring to the table: Proven record of accomplishment in technical sales / account management experience.
