About the RoleAs the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Canterbury, West Coast, and Top of the South regions. This role involves providing leadership to a team of Sales/Agri Managers, guiding them on partnering with farmers to understand their goals and challenges and providing solutions that enhance herd productivity and profitability.You will manage a team of Sales/Agri Managers, guiding them to achieve high performance, while also maintaining your own small portfolio of customers.Key Responsibilities Include:Play a key leadership role for Sales/Agri Managers who report to you. This includes management, supervision, and coaching to achieve the best outcomes for LIC and our customers.Responsibility for the effective implementation of LIC solutions and services and the achievement of sales targets in your territory.Maximise relationships with existing clients, and actively build relationships with new customers.About YouAs a rural professional and passionate leader, you will bring a strategic vision and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Your understanding of NZ's farming and dairy industry, combined with your leadership skills, will enable you to drive performance and achieve results.You will also demonstrate:Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.A relevant tertiary qualification or several years of experience working in the agricultural sector.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.High self-motivation and easy to relate to, with a passion for coaching and enabling your team to deliver outstanding service on the farm.Knowledge of LIC's products and services is beneficial.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.To be successful at LIC, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and be adaptable to change.
