Regional Operations Director, South Island About the Role: Reporting to the New Zealand Regional Vice President, The Regional Operations Director is accountable for the profitability, safety and leadership of the Lineage Operations across the South Island (four regions; Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin).
We are looking for an experienced Senior leader who can motivate and engage employees, drive financial results and exceed budgets, identify new business with existing and new clients, and have the ability to work in a faced-pace environment.
Responsibilities will include: Promoting and standing by the company's Health and Safety processes and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Providing strong and positive leadership to your team, identifying and developing talent
Communicate and foster the development of a common vision. Energise people behind a sense of purpose by providing clarity of priorities and strategies
Role model the values and behaviours: Lead by example, holding team to account on their behaviour and key objectives, enabling effective collaboration between teams
Lead the operation within agreed contractual parameters to deliver quality customer service
Monitor and measure financial outcomes and productivity against targets, and identify and implement corrective actions to address any gaps
See ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies
Role model the values and behaviours: Lead by example, holding team to account on their behaviour and key objectives, enabling effective collaboration between teams
The ideal candidate will have: Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality and legality issues
 relevant experience
Experience leading large teams, including multiple operational sites within a region
Experience in facilitating change management practices to build a platform for a successful future
Experience in successfully meeting financial budgets, targets and reporting
Excellent understanding of profit and loss and balance sheets
Experience in managing large relevant industry customers
Experience in working within regulatory frameworks
Experience with cost control and improvements
Strong understanding and leadership of LEAN initiatives across multiple operations
