Job Description We are seeking a RMT Administrator We are currently seeking a highly sophisticated and proactive individual to fill the role of RMT Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity supporting our Regional Manager and team while contributing to the success of a well-established company with a strong commitment to work-life balance and career development. As RMT Administrator, you will be responsible for: Supporting our South Island Regional Manager, ensuring they are well informed and kept up to date on key matters. Managing calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments. Organising and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. Creating, preparing, and editing correspondence, reports, templates, presentations, and other documents. Organising and coordinating events, such as the annual South Island Christmas party. Managing event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and attendee communication. Maintaining and organising files and records, both physical and digital. Managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Using initiative by proactively seeking work and opportunities where you can add value. About You The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment working with people, software, and data, and will possess the following qualities: The ability to plan, prioritise, and organise work efficiently and effectively, taking ownership of key deliverables. Naturally able to connect with people, building trust and establishing rapport. Cool, calm, and collected, with the ability to recognise when a direct approach is required. Driven, showing optimism and focus to make things happen and achieve outcomes. Qualifications, Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will bring an upbeat, positive, solution-focused approach, accompanied by: A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles with a proven track record of success, including scheduling and managing complex calendars. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in drafting/editing correspondence, reports, and presentations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating templates, agendas, and taking meeting minutes. Proven ability to manage confidential documents and communications with high self-awareness and intuition for urgent needs. An energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Adaptability and willingness to support both the immediate team and the wider Christchurch Office, with construction industry experience being desirable but not compulsory.
