About the role We have a rare opportunity for a passionate and professional Regional Food Services Manager to join our professional operations team. Reporting to the Executive Operations Manager and supporting a cluster of assigned villages, you will assist in the development and implementation of strategies and operational standards across these villages. The role will support quality and compliance, financial performance, and technology adoption.
Along with training, recruitment support, and input into kitchen design for new developments, key responsibilities in the transformation of our food and dining operations across the cluster will include:
Financial performance improvements (revenue capture; cost control, labour optimisation/COGS).
Drive cluster standardisation (including adoption of centrally developed, costed menus) whilst maintaining personalisation at site.
Driving site specific improvements in resident satisfaction scores.
Adherence to food and dining compliance framework, including supporting site preparation for external audits and delivery of corrective action plans.
Driving process improvements and technology adoption (stock control, financial systems and POS).
Driving sustainable kitchen practices to support Metlifecares sustainability ambitions across water, waste and emissions reduction.
About you
With relevant qualifications and experience in F&B multi-site operations management, you will be an excellent communicator and leader with a strong understanding of Food & Dining P&L financials. You will have previous experience and high competency around food control plans and compliance. You can lead positive change, develop, and identify staff for development and influent roster management for sustainable and profitable outcomes for your cluster villages. If you have previous experience in an aged care environment or similar, we would be keen to speak with you.
