Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Regional Driver Training Manager
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our driver training framework and lead our team of driver trainers.
This is a newly established role that will lead our team of 10 Driver Trainers who are responsible for delivering our driver training framework for our urban bus drivers across Auckland, Wellington and the Hutt Valley.
As Regional Driver Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in our overall success by: Enhancing Training Quality: leading and supporting our team of driver trainers and ensuring that our training programs are fit for purpose and delivered to framework standards.Optimising Resources: effective management of training resources and teams across all areas to deliver effective utilisation of time, budget, and resource.Driving Performance and Growth: coaching and support of our driver trainers, improving their skillsets and competencies to foster professional growth and boost morale.Ensuring Compliance: maintaining compliance of our training framework to meet our internal and external contractual standards, and to deliver consistency of our training programmes.Continuous Improvement: collaborate with our wider regional training team, our Head of Safety, Training and Development, and our Tranzurban GMS to improve, develop and optimise our training framework.We are looking for: Senior training experience - demonstrated experience in a senior training or development role, with a solid understanding of technical training techniques.Strong leadership skills with a dynamic, hands-on approach to training and coaching that motivates and inspires teams.Proactive and results-driven communicator, capable of engaging effectively across all organisational levels.Business acumen knowledge, a strong understanding of operational strategies to ensure training programs align with organisational goals and drive overall success.Tech-savvy, with a focus on compliance and analysis that informs future decision-making.This role can be based at either of our Wellington or Hutt Valley depots. Our recruitment process will include an interview and pre-employment checks (including a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, pre-employment drive, police check and references).
