About the Role Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive of the Central Region, this position is responsible for leading the strategic planning and funding of regional Hospital & Specialist Services and Community Services, including supporting the engagement/co-ordination of the community sector and Primary Health Organisations.
The role focuses on enhancing patient outcomes through delivering sustainable, financially responsible healthcare delivery, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of quality, accessibility and efficiency.
This leadership position will drive initiatives that integrate care across hospital and community settings, and advance the region's commitment to patient-centred, sustainable health solutions.
In this role, the Executive Director, Planning, Funding & Outcomes will be expected to leverage regional data and work closely with clinical leaders and operational teams so that Hospital & Specialist Services and Community Services are integrated, and patients are receiving the care they need, when they need it.
You will drive improvement in the way that the region plans, funds, contracts and delivers its services.
About you With over a decade of experience in planning and service performance monitoring, you excel in large, complex, and dynamic organisations. You have a proven ability to develop strategic outsourcing requirements for health services, working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to create tailored solutions. Skilled in partnering with sourcing providers, you ensure robust contracts are established to support effective service delivery.
You are highly experienced in designing and implementing clinical and community service specifications, working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders to develop and monitor production and performance improvement plans. Your strong background in the public and health sectors enables you to navigate complex environments while delivering results that align with organisational objectives and enhance service outcomes.
