Regional Development Manager - Yachting New Zealand

Yachting New Zealand is seeking a passionate and dynamic Regional Development Manager (RDM) for the northern region, including Auckland, the Coromandel, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty.
About the role:  This pivotal role involves providing on-the-ground support to clubs and sailors, enhancing club capabilities, increasing participation, and raising awareness in schools and the community. As a key relationship manager, you will be the face of Yachting New Zealand in the region.
What we are looking for: A true passion for sailing and sport development.In-depth knowledge of sailing and boating clubs.Fresh thinking and a creative approach to growing the sport.Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of people.Self-motivation, high organisation, and the ability to work independently.Preferred experience in governance, business or organisational leadership.If you are enthusiastic about making a significant impact in the sailing community and possess the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will need to be able to work outside 'normal working hours' from time to time. This is a full-time position.
