About the role: An opportunity has arisen in the NZ Water business based in Dunedin for the right individual to take on the role of Regional Delivery Lead.
This role will see you provide leadership to the regional water group and ensure the project portfolio is delivered to a high quality, on budget and time.
You will also provide technical leadership for water projects as required by the Group Leader.
Key Accountabilities: Provide operational leadership to ensure delivery of the Lower South Island Water team's project portfolio.
Provides line management and direction to the Lower South Island Water Team Leads to ensure a highly engaged and productive team.
Work collaboratively to build long term relationships with internal staff and clients within the region.
Assist the Group Leader to ensure suitable workload forecasting and resource planning.
Support Group Leader, Sector Leaders, Panel leads and PMCL where appropriate in key client relationships, strategic project pursuits and major project leadership.
Provide technical and professional leadership/mentoring to intermediate/junior design engineers and project managers.
Ensure QA processes are being followed to ensure consistency and delivery to internal and external clients.
Lead and drive business development with our regional Water clients.
You will be a confident communicator with a tertiary qualification.
You will develop strong internal relationships, carry out all aspects of stakeholder consultation and negotiation when required.
