Job Description What will you do as a Regional Dairy Administrator at Aurora?
In our role as Regional Dairy Administrator , your main responsibility will be to oversee the operational administration of our 7 dairy farms situated in the Canterbury and Otago regions of New Zealand.
You will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager also based in Rolleston, New Zealand.
This role will involve a combination of working at our regional office located in Rolleston, working from home, and occasionally travelling to our farms.
Our Administration team is spread across Australia and New Zealand and works collaboratively.
The position is available on both a part-time (minimum 4 days) and full-time basis, and working hours can be flexible across the working week to accommodate your needs.
Key Responsibilities Preparing and completion of monthly and annual reports on financial and physical aspects of the New Zealand portfolio.
Onboard and train new starters in our safety system and provide support to new starters in your region.
Direct, track, and ensure completion of all Weekly and Monthly Checklists in compliance with the safety requirements.
Review, monitor, and book employee's training requirements regarding Health and Safety Licences and Safety Courses, as well as personal development requirements.
New system training rollout and support.
Return to work coordination as required.
Support the Regional Operations Manager and Farm Managers with Capex projects and manage council relationships and administration where required.
Qualifications The skills and experience for this opportunity are: You have worked in a similar administration role previously.
You easily pick up new systems.
You hold a valid driver licence and a reliable vehicle.
You have a strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills with the farm staff and corporate staff.
Uses initiative and has strong self-motivation.
You have a passion for the dairy industry (experience in the dairy industry preferred but not essential).
A background in health and safety, environmental compliance and/or data and analytics would also be advantageous.
Must have full New Zealand Working Rights.
