About the opportunity: Put your credit expertise to the test in a fantastic new opportunity, based in our Farm Source Hamilton offices! Working as part of a close-knit team with some excellent office banter, you'll engage your credit expertise taking responsibility for a region-specific portfolio of customers which we'll mix up once in a while to keep it interesting! Your customer base is broad, stretching from employees to general farm source customers and of course Fonterra suppliers.
You will manage credit for thousands of accounts, overseeing the life cycle from initial risk assessment through to closure.
You'll also build great relationships with our busy stores teams, helping them with credit issues and queries as an extended arm to their team.
About you: Make no mistake, this is a busy and challenging role! We're seeking a credit expert who relishes working within a fast-paced environment and problem-solving their way through some tricky situations.
Your strength in building relationships, exercising empathy, and managing tough conversations will be highly valued and certainly set you up to succeed.
With that in hand, a few other key attributes and skills will help ensure your success:

Autonomous credit experience in a commercial setting
Amazing interpersonal skills and ability to connect with a diverse range of people
Great time management and ability to prioritise workload
Polished and professional communication style, both over the phone and via email
Computer literacy including basic Excel skills
