Your new role
As the regional communications specialist for , New Zealand, and Southeast Asia your role involves developing, leading and implementing internal communications strategies on behalf of the Company. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for providing varying degrees of strategic support for the communications team that aligns with business priorities.
Key Duties
Coordinating events for the company, which may include all-employee meetings, people-leader meetings, trade shows, and community and other site-specific events that help drive brand recognition and employee engagement.
Writing and developing content including but not limited to company news articles, speeches, employee email communications, PowerPoint presentations, and videos.
Supporting limited site and geography specific communications, will be responsible for collecting, writing, and distributing routine and ad-hoc communications.
Partnering with employee resource group leads to promote each group, ensure alignment with overall company messaging and provide strategic communications counsel.
Supporting logistics and execution for mid-to small-size trade shows.
Maintaining regional content, applications, and micro-sites for the internal intranet platform
Ad hoc support for communications team and lead support for projects as needed.
Experience, Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor's degree with 10 years+ of experience working with a corporate communications team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Highly process and detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Strong project and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines without diminishing quality of execution or outcome.
Strong storytelling skills.
Ability to seamlessly navigate organizational hierarchies and structures.
Proven ability to work and prioritize independently; proactively manage complex problems with limited guidance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency with video editing and website content management platforms is also a plus
