Regional Business Development Manager - Carus Commercial Painting and Maintenance

About the Role:
Oval Recruitment is excited to support Carus in their search for a full-time Business Development Manager to join their team. This role can be based in Invercargill or Dunedin and will cover the Otago & Southland regions, requiring regular travel to ensure their continued growth within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and growth opportunities by sourcing new leads.
Engage in cold calling and consultative selling.
Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities.
Assist in developing new sales campaigns.
Process enquiries promptly.
Assist with job planning and scheduling.
Requirements:
Proven track record as an experienced Business Development Manager.
Experience in the painting sector or building, maintenance, or construction sectors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and commercial acumen.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Ability to develop and cultivate strong customer relationships both internally and externally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
