Our client is looking for a Refrigeration Service Technician with a positive attitude, a few years experience and a willingness to be part of a great team.
They are New Zealand's leading manufacturer of food grade stainless steel vats and other stainless steel projects with expertise in advanced refrigeration technologies to service the dairy, beverage, food tech and wider agribusiness market. They employ approx. 77 people across NZ with offices located in Hamilton and Normanby. The team is super important to them and they know that their success is dependent upon the commitment and performance of their people.
Due to growth across their business, they are currently looking for experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians to join their team, servicing the Hamilton region.
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate:
Limited Electrical ticket is required Current EST registration (or the ability to obtain provisional registration) Fault finding / Problem solving Mechanical assembly and fitting Good working knowledge of computers Ideally 2+ years experience in the agricultural sector would be advantageous The ability to work in New Zealand You will primarily be accountable for On Farm Milk Cooling and Tank Solutions which will involve:
On-farm reactive and maintenance work Installations of various on farm equipment To identify potential upgrades and new sales opportunities for the business and installations From time to time, you will provide support with Dairy Automation installations and Contractor technical training and support in your region.
