Our client, a proudly NZ owned, leading commercial refrigeration and air conditioning company based in Grey Lynn, Auckland, is seeking a fully qualified Refrigeration/HVAC Engineer with a current NZ EWRB EST License to join their team. Whether it's large-scale commercial projects or hotel installations, no two days are the same!
About the role:Reporting to the Service Manager, as a Refrigeration & HVAC Engineer, you'll manage a volume of projects across various sites, performing servicing, installation, and maintenance on a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You'll build and maintain strong relationships with customers both on and off-site, working closely with your team to achieve project goals while adhering to health & safety policies. Additionally, you'll ensure clear and timely documentation supporting smooth project execution and collaboration with other tradespeople.
What we are ideally seeking:Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solvingNZ trade qualification in refrigeration/HVAC preferredCurrent NZ EWRB electrical EST licenseProficiency in refrigeration and HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairStrong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical components, and HVAC controlsExcellent customer and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear and understandable mannerHigh level of integrity and commitment to high standards of workStrong health & safety mindset, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and standardsFull NZ clean driver's licenseIf you're ready to take on this dynamic opportunity, apply now and join a company where your skills are valued and growth is encouraged!
