Traveling around Northland may be required so you need to be energetic, hardworking and welcome any challenges that come with the role.AsRefrigeration Engineer / Electrician, you will be responsible for residential, commercial and industrial servicing and general repairs. As well as being involved in residential housing and heat pump installation.Responsibilities will include:Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipmentRead blueprints and electrical and electronic schematicsOperate tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systemsApply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the systems is working properly following repairsPerform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systemsThis role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: 5+ years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer Fully qualifiedExperience in residential housing and heat pump installationFull clean New Zealand drivers license with good driving recordExcellent time management and organisational skillsCan work independentlyA high level of customer service skillsAbout the company:Our client is a thriving local provider of all refrigeration products with decades of industry experience to back it up.
