Referrals Management Clinician

Position: Mental Health Nurse
Location: Awhi Matua, community mental health team for older adults, Greenlane Clinical Centre, Auckland
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
The Opportunity: This role is based with Awhi Matua, our community mental health team serving the central Auckland population of adults over 65 experiencing acute mental illness or behavioral difficulties associated with dementia.
The team works with individuals from acute crisis through to continuing care. We are seeking an experienced mental health nurse for one of our two Referrals Management Clinician roles.
Your Responsibilities:

Clinical triage
Liaison with referrers
Phone assessments following a triage pathway
Work as a clinical team member in the Awhi Matua Community Team

Qualifications:

NZ registered Mental Health Nurse
Minimum of three years clinical experience
Postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty mental health practice (ideally)
Full NZ Driver's licence
