Due to a staff member leaving, a full-time Recycling Centre Operator position is available.
This role involves working across all three EcoDrop locations.
There is no fixed base, allowing for a variety of work environments throughout the week.
This position will report directly to the Resource Recovery Centre Supervisor.
The role includes but is not limited to: Accepting items from the public with a smile and enthusiasm.
Loading collected items into containers for our EcoShop, promoting reuse and reducing waste.
Safely handling and storing hazardous waste drop-offs with full training provided.
Driving a forklift to change bins of recyclable products with full training provided.
You will be: Self-motivated.
Interact well with customers.
Physically fit.
Possess a full driver's licence; training will be provided to obtain an F endorsement for a forklift.
Comply with the organisation's visions and values and have a good attitude towards continuous improvement.

Hours of work are normally 7:00 am to 4:30 pm on a 6 days on and 3 days off roster.
