Select Recruitment are on the hunt for an intrepid recruitment consultant who can build bridges (not just in construction), between amazing candidates and fantastic companies in the civil and construction sector.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be servicing an existing client base of a diverse range of clients within construction, trades, warehousing, engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, whilst actively scouting new business.
As a 360 recruiter, you will keep clients happy and candidates even happier - aligning the right people for the job first time!
Key Responsibilities: Identify and attract top candidates for various roles in construction and civil engineering.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates to ensure successful placements.
Actively engage in new business development.
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to match candidates with the right opportunities.
Oversee and implement best practices with regards to health & safety and candidate care.
Stay informed about industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
The Ideal Candidate: You will have previous recruitment experience, ideally in the construction and civil realm or have proven account management/sales experience.
Be a highly motivated team player.
You will have a high attention to detail & strong administration skills.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
You will hold a sound understanding of New Zealand health and safety and compliance practices.
Must hold a clean & valid Full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
