This growth role will operate as a part of our Engineering division. In this space, you will work with clients ranging from small Kiwi start-ups to large-scale national accounts across both public and private sectors, contributing to the continued sustainability and development of our land and infrastructure.The infrastructure and civil engineering sector in New Zealand play a significant role in the country's economy. It contributes to the development and maintenance of various infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, water supply systems, and buildings.About The Opportunity:This is a new growth desk in our Engineering division, with a specialist focus on surveying, infrastructure, and the civil engineering sectors. You will work closely as a part of a busy, client-facing team to maintain existing and build new relationships, actively staying on the pulse of talent within the market. You will have the opportunity to work alongside multiple senior consultants in this space, with direct one-on-one mentorship and a chance to work roles from day one.By joining our tight-knit team of trusted consultants, you will:Work across a variety of administrative & CRM software.Develop high-level sales & business development skills.Source & convert active talent, developing valuable talent pools.Attend & take leadership of your own client meetings & presentations.Deal with complex business transactions & negotiations.Understand technical terminology & develop an understanding of ongoing projects within NZ.Attend annual on and off-site meetings.Build & maintain relationships across the market.Manage a variety of valuable client accounts.This is a hugely varied role that will provide you with the opportunity to work with some fantastic businesses as a partner in talent acquisition. You will also have the opportunity to become a trusted advisor to a pool of talented individuals in achieving market-leading career milestones and goals.About You:As a graduate consultant at Fluid, we require an emerging professional with an innate curiosity for technical projects, sustainability, and infrastructure, as well as a natural knack for connecting with people and building professional relationships. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload, juggling multiple deals and operating with pace and resilience across business transactions.In addition to this, you will have a great handle on a variety of soft skills; you will pride yourself on being an excellent communicator and an exceptional team player who is ready to muck-in with a can-do attitude from day one.Our Benefits:Although you will be primarily based out of our Dunedin office, we actively encourage travel between our regional offices and divisional clients on an NZ-wide level.
