As a Recruitment Advisor for NZ Police, you'll work with some of the best recruiters in NZ delivering real benefit on a national level.

Working in partnership with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, the Talent Pathway Team develops strategies specifically designed to enable New Zealand Police to attract and hire high quality candidates into sworn and Police employee roles. You will provide end-to end support in all phases of the recruitment cycle, which includes performing specialist candidate sourcing activities, candidate management and stakeholder interaction within designated areas - with the exception of new constabulary.

Attention to detail and top-level service are your key drivers, as are your familiarity and comfort with compliance-based recruitment tools and systems. Proven experience managing senior level stakeholder relationships is also key to being successful in this position.

You will enjoy being part of a professional (and fun), high functioning team, have sound judgement, an eye for detail and an ability to build rapport with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and cultures.

High volume recruitment advisory * Talent Selection * Applicant care/management * Building relationships with hiring managers * Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives * Strong experience of developing solutions and managing challenging conversations with both applicants and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will:

Be experienced in end-to-end recruitment at Advisory level, with previous success achieved in a high volume, fast paced internal recruitment role or a relationship and service based (rather than solely dollar driven) agency position. * Be confident in managing workloads with sometimes conflicting deadlines. * demonstrate the ability to take the initiative to solve problems and make decisions. * Have an understanding of recruitment systems and end to end recruitment. * Be inclusive and enjoy a supportive team culture, applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to engage the characteristics of a high performing team.

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $80,295 and $83,973 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
