In this role you will: Partner closely with recovering clients and their whanau, providers, and employers Communicate by phone, email, or face to face (kanohi ki te kanohi) Facilitate a holistic rehabilitation plan to manage any roadblocks to ensure the best possible outcome for recovery Support your clients in making meaningful progress towards their goals and outcomes We have multiple specialisations our Recovery Coordinators can work in including our Hapai Client Recovery service which is aimed at improving access to services and improved engagement for whanau Maori. Please note we have a set start date ofMonday 7 October 2024to fit around planned training and induction programmes. You may bring: Great listening and communication skills- you will balance being engaging and supportive with explaining the complex technical information to our clients in words they understand and hear what is not being said Curious mindset- you will be keen to learn to interpret and apply complex legislation and technical information Flexible and adaptable- you will have solid time management and be flexible in change plans to meet client needs Personal resilience- you will be supporting people facing challenging circumstances, so we want to make sure you won't take that home with you Full clean New Zealand driver's license- there may be days you travel to clients who are unable to visit one of our sites Experience in case management or working in the public sector is a bonus but not a requirement!
