We have a great temporary opportunity available for an experienced archivist/recordkeeper to assist the corporate records and data team in a healthcare based organisation.
Located in Greenlane, this assignment will start asap till Christmas working full time hours (Mon-Fri).
The duties include: Recordkeeping tasks related to the management of non-patient information and records.Data Reporting.Provide training to the organisation's staff around filing in-house active records and with boxing and listing inactive records ready for off-site storage or transfer.Look after Archives NZ records transfer including checking all files in boxes and recording correctly contents of each box.Assist the senior records technician to achieve team projects and objectives.The successful candidate: Must have at least three years proven experience in a recordkeeping environment.Must be familiar with the Public Records Act, Information and Records Management Standard, associated resources within Archives New Zealand, and Disposal authority for District Health Boards.A working knowledge of the records lifecycle, the Public Records Act, GDA and FDA, classification and categorisation, document properties, and records metadata tagging.Previous experience appraising, listing, describing, and sentencing records.Knowledge and understanding of the Disposal Authorities for public health and state sector agencies.Ability to identify and understand the differences in the treatment of active, inactive, high value and high risk records and archival material.Confidence working across physical and digital environments and various platforms and technical environments.Aptitude or experience in business/data analysis.Intermediate MS Office applications particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows Explorer.If this sounds like you and you are available to start immediately, then please apply now with your CV!
