What You'll Be Doing | Mo te Turanga This Reconciliations Officer position will see you ensuring all functions relating to Association and Joint Venture bank accounts are carried out and reconciled in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with Association policy. You'll build strong internal and external business relationships to ensure efficient completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts plus full bank reconciliations at month end. Generating, downloading and uploading of daily bank statements for all entities. Investigating any unmatched transactions to find out where the transaction should be posted to. Processing all dishonoured transactions. Key liaison with bank for banking queries. Preparing and processing journal entries. Adhering to all daily, weekly and month end deadlines. Working with your manager to enhance documented processes for greater efficiencies and controls. Being actively involved in regular reviews and update of role and related procedures. Monitoring group email(s) to ensure issues are addressed, valid updates are regularly provided, and are completed accurately and efficiently. Providing cover for BBS (Branch Banking Summary) Team roles when staff are on leave or need support. About You | Mou To thrive in this role, you'll need: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Proven problem-solving skills. Strong numerical aptitude and ability to work under pressure and multi-task. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to work in a collaborative manner with all levels of the organisation. Organised and process oriented. Demonstrate strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Able to prioritise work and maintain a high professional standard. Passion, drive, and enthusiasm, along with the ability to overcome obstacles. Have an exceptional eye for detail and the sense to question irregularities.
