Salary: $23.75 per hour, plus annual wage reviews

About the role: Waterfront Suites, based in Paihia and part of the prestigious Heritage Collection group, is looking for someone to join our small front office team in the Bay of Islands on a part-time basis, working up to 35 hours per week.
You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, handling reservations and payments, and welcoming guests to the hotel and local area. You will ensure all hotel reservations are correctly loaded and guest requests are actioned appropriately. Additionally, you will respond to phone and email inquiries and provide guests with information to ensure they have the best possible stay with us!
There may also be an opportunity to act as duty manager when the Resident Manager is away.
About you: Hotel reception experience is preferred
Knowledge/experience with Clarity (our PMS system) is ideal
IT savvy
Great attention to detail with a friendly personality and guest service ethic
High level of communication skills, both written and spoken
The ability to handle payments accurately
