Totara House is a specialist multidisciplinary service for young people between the ages of 18-30. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Receptionist/Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the service.
Totara House is an "early intervention in psychosis" service. This means we treat people as early as possible in a psychotic episode and aim to assess people who may be showing early signs of developing psychosis.
As an experienced Receptionist/Administrator you will know what it takes to provide great customer service and administration support to your team. This is a varied role so your ability to organise and prioritise your workload, coupled with your desire to help those around you will see you succeed in this position.
This is a permanent full time role or it can be part-time for the right candidate.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4 steps /Profile 4.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Provide quality and confidential Administrative/Secretarial support
Meeting and greeting at the front desk
Typing doctor's letters

Your skills will include:
Sound knowledge of the English language
Strong computer and keyboard skills
Previous Dictaphone experience
Previous experience in medical terminology and/or experience in the health sector
This is a permanent full time role or it can be part-time, so if you are a self-motivated positive person who enjoys a challenge and supporting a busy team, is capable of multi-tasking and has a high level of organisational skills, than we'd like to hear from you.
