This means the opportunities are endless for our people!About the roleWe are looking for a Receptionist to use their exceptional customer service and communication skills to maintain the efficient day to day running of our Wellington office and facilities.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a role where your career development is only limited by your willingness to learn!You will be the key point of contact for clients and guest. Greeting them at reception, you will be their first impression of Dentons; well-presented, friendly and proactive.In this role, you will deliver outstanding service to all clients, both internal and external. Your day-to-day may includeWelcoming guests, both internal and externalMaintaining the reception area and kitchensCoordinating meeting room bookings and keeping rooms tidyAnswering all incoming calls and dealing with client queriesUpdating office records, including phone lists and supplier detailsSupporting the planning and coordination of firm events and arrange cateringPreparing beverages and delivering cateringManaging the maintenance of office facilitiesArranging photocopying and printingOrdering stationery and suppliesProviding back up support to the wider Operations teamDigitising and file deed documentsWebsite profiles, client data and templates administration and supportThis is a full- time permanent role based in our central Wellington office working Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. Due to the nature of this role, there is no opportunity to work remotely.The teamThe Receptionist reports to the Operations Manager and is part of the wider Operations team which sit within Corporate Services. This team prides itself on collaborating and supporting each other. There will be opportunities for this role to pick up support in other areas of the Operations team.About youThe ideal person will have a positive attitude, will use their initiative and is able to work well under pressure. You will bring strong administrative experience in a Receptionist role (previous experience working in a law firm is desirable). You will be flexible and be able to manage competing priorities and sudden changes in direction.
