About the Role
Are you looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic environment? We're seeking passionate receptionists to join our dedicated clerical team in the Emergency Department (ED) at Waikato Hospital!
About the Service
The ED Clerical team is committed to collectively delivering a quality, safe and accurate service along with treating all patients with dignity, respect, and compassion. Together we build an effective team and participate in ongoing quality improvements as required. Excellent communication is a vital part of this. Our success is driven by having shared accountability for healthy people and excellent care.
About you
We're looking for candidates who possess:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to excellence and integrity in all interactions.
A proactive approach to personal responsibility and well-being.
The ability to handle shift work with stamina and enthusiasm.
Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
