Job DescriptionWe are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our dental practice in Mosgiel, New Zealand.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient office operation.
Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the practice's calendar.Maintain accurate patient records and handle billing and payment processes.Assist with dental procedures, sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms.Provide administrative support to the dental team, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.Ensure the reception area and waiting room are clean, organized, and welcoming.The hours for this role are:
Tuesday: 5.00pm - 8.00pmWednesday: 3.00pm - 8.00pmSaturday: 8.30am - 5.15pm QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and supportive manner.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred).Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred).Experience in a dental or healthcare setting (preferred).Dental assisting certification (preferred, but not required).
