About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join our team at Mental Health and Addictions Service. You will be responsible for greeting patients on arrival, updating appointment systems, answering incoming calls, and performing general administrative functions supportive of the reception role.
You must be an adaptable person with a willingness to embrace multitasking. Excellent communication skills are required, and confidentiality is essential.
About the Service
Mental Health and Addictions Service will be based at The Waikato University Campus from December 2024. The team covers a wide area providing services for Adult Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Services, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
About You
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Competent computer skills with previous reception or administration experience. Previous experience working within a health/mental health setting is advantageous.
