Position Overview
As the Receptionist/Administrator for DNA and Native Tech, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and supporting daily administrative operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for managing correspondence, assisting with scheduling and events, handling visitor inquiries, supporting student enrolment, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
About the Role:
Communication Management: Oversee emails, Facebook messages, phone calls, and other correspondence, ensuring timely responses and delivery.
Scheduling & Meetings: Manage daily calendars, coordinate meetings, and prepare the boardroom for appointments.
Visitor Management: Greet visitors, manage inbound calls, and respond to inquiries about DNA and Native Tech.
Site & Maintenance Checks: Conduct daily checks for maintenance or safety issues, track inventory, and maintain a clean reception area.
Student Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, student records and enrolment, StudyLink and general support for our students, and the vetting process for staff and contractors.
Event Coordination: Support event logistics, including invitations, equipment, and attendance monitoring.
Security Procedures: Monitor building entry, ensuring visitors follow sign-in protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A self-starter that can work independently and strategically.
Prior experience in working with education providers or similar administrative roles.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Advanced Canva use is a bonus.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and familiarity with scheduling software is an advantage.
Full Driver's License required.
