Rating Engines Lead - Release ManagementJob requisition ID: 44650Location: Auckland, AUK, NZWorkplace Type: HybridCreate impact as a Rating Engines Lead, Release Management.As a Ratings Engine Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving transformation work occurring across IAG by providing leadership and delivery for a Rating Engine team focused on managing releases, testing and incident support. Your team will have a major impact on ensuring the implementation of rate changes and algorithms. You'll help drive controlled and profitable portfolio growth through effective rating across all consumer and intermediated brands, leveraging IAG systems and collaborating with the wider Pricing leadership team, business stakeholders, and Technology teams.This is a permanent role open to candidates based in Aotearoa (New Zealand) with one day per week from an IAG office.Significant experience in Pricing and Analytics functions within the insurance industry.A strong proficiency in rating logic, algorithm testing, rating software development, and managing release cycles in a modern agile software development environment.Experienced in cultivating a culture of precision and collaboration to achieve a high standard of delivery in projects.Comfortable managing business change requests related to algorithms, underwriting, and rates, ensuring quality and risk awareness throughout the integration and implementation process.Capable of developing business relationships with team members and stakeholders, both within and outside IAG.Manage the identification, resolution, and documentation of incidents related to rating engines, ensuring minimal disruption and continuous improvement.Applications close Tuesday, 3 December 2024 at 11:59pmIAG is the largest general insurance group in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.
