He angitutanga | About the role Based in Franz Josef, you will be part of a dynamic team working with RMA, SLM and other statutory processes.
A key component of this role will be focusing on the strategic planning, monitoring, and compliance of concessions in the South Westland District.
You will assist Supervisors in achieving annual targets as outlined by the Department's priorities and provide critical support and input into policy document reviews, such as National Park Plans and Conservation Management Strategies.
Additionally, the position will involve strengthening iwi relationships and developing and maintaining key stakeholder and partnership contributions.

* Excellent organisation and negotiation skills.
* An ability to multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficient with MS programmes and comfortable navigating systems and processes.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Outstanding interpersonal, engagement, and relationship management skills.
* Understanding of the importance of a good health and safety culture.
* Valid full New Zealand driver licence.
* Experience working and partnering with whanau, hapu and iwi is desirable.
* First aid certificate is desirable.
