The Kaitiaki, Ranger is a crucial operational role that will support and lead across all work programmes. This role will assist and skipper in marine vessel operations, work with volunteers and students to achieve conservation outcomes, complete track and visitor facility maintenance, and support the biodiversity team in pest and predator control, and native species monitoring.
The day-to-day work will be field-based but will include some office time to support field delivery and the team. The role involves semi-regular trips away overnight (3-7 days at a time) in order to efficiently complete the busy work programme. When working away on overnight trips, an allowance will be paid.

The salary range for this position is $55,684 - $66,578 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
