Village Collective is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Rainbow Fale Team Lead to join our dynamic team and help us continue our impactful work.About us: For over 20 years, Village Collective has been a pillar of support for Pasifika Rainbow Young People (MVPFAFF+ and LGBTQIA+) and their families. Our mission is to empower our Pasifika Rainbow Young People with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives. We provide essential leadership and mentoring programs, guiding them in making informed decisions about their sexual health, mental health, and relationships.The Role: As our Rainbow Fale Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Rainbow Fale team and shaping the future of our programs. You'll have the opportunity to build valuable partnerships with Health and Social Service Providers, champion the Village Collective brand within the Pasifika Rainbow community, and strengthen our position in the sector.What You'll Do:• Inspire and lead the Rainbow Fale team with vision and enthusiasm.• Forge and cultivate partnerships with key health and social service providers to meet the unique needs of Pasifika Young People.• Boost the visibility and loyalty of the Village Collective brand among Pasifika Rainbow Young People and the wider MVPFAFF+, LGBTQIA+ communities.• Solidify the leadership and influence of Rainbow Fale within the sector and local community.• Engage with clients and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and communication.• Plan and organise vibrant and impactful events annually for Pasifika Rainbow Young People and their communities celebrating their diversity and supporting their growth.What We're Looking For:• A passionate leader with a deep connection to both the Rainbow (MVPFAFF+ and LGBTQIA+) and Pasifika communities.• Demonstrated understanding of Pasifika and Maori cultural responsivity.• Proven experience in Youth Work, with a track record of successfully supporting and mentoring young people.• Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or counselling is desirable but not essential.• Demonstrated experience in leadership, program development, and partnership building.• A creative and strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire others.• Must hold a clean, valid, Full NZ Driver's license.Apply online by clicking the "Apply for this job
