The Opportunity In this position, you will provide a Diagnostic reporting service for all modalities in the Paediatric Radiology Department and work across all modalities of paediatric interventional imaging including vascular access, biopsies, steroid injections, bone ablations, nephrostomies and drainages.
You will be responsible for issuing reports, supervising registrars and teaching, liaising with other services, providing opinions and reporting on external imaging, supervising sonographers and working closely with radiographers.
Important Skills As the ideal candidate, you will be a qualified Paediatric Radiologist with Fellowship Training. Clinical experience in all aspects of general paediatric radiology including conventional radiographs, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, CT and MRI is a must.
You will need to work as part of a small but collaborative inter and intra-disciplinary team. You will have or be eligible to apply for vocational registration and Annual Practising Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
