We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.
Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.
You will be joining a team of 11 Paediatric Radiologists supported by a wider team of Registrars, Radiographers, Sonographers, Nurses, RIS-PACS and administrative support staff.
In this position, you will provide a Diagnostic reporting service for all modalities in the Paediatric Radiology Department and work across all modalities of paediatric interventional imaging including vascular access, biopsies, steroid injections, bone ablations, nephrostomies and drainages.
As the ideal candidate, you will be a qualified Paediatric Radiologist with Fellowship Training.
Clinical experience in all aspects of general paediatric radiology including conventional radiographs, fluoroscopic procedures, ultrasound, CT and MRI is a must.
You will need to work as part of a small but collaborative inter and intra-disciplinary team.
You will have or be eligible to apply for vocational registration and Annual Practising Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
