The Team
Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is home to a busy radiology service based atChristchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary centre in the South Island.
Theservice also encompasses several other sites including Christchurch Women's andBurwood hospitals. Our new hospital houses state of the art equipment and offersa varied case mix including local and regional, general and subspecialty work.
Our mix of general and subspecialty trained radiologists work closely togetherwith a supportive team culture being a strength of our service.
If you have an academic interest, Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha isaffiliated with the Otago Medical School affording the opportunity to contributeto undergraduate training.
Te Whatu Ora is also part of the new healthprecinct Te Papa Hauora, a creative and inspiring network that integratesworld-class healthcare, research and innovation, education and industry with astrong emphasis on population health based in Christchurch.
The Role
We welcomeexpressions of interest from general radiologists and those with subspecialtyareas of interest. You will workalongside a motivated team of radiologists who support a progressive tertiaryservice in a beautiful location.
We are a flexible employer with locum, fixed term or permanent, full and part-time options available. To apply you must beeligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
