Newlands, a leading company in Auto Electrical Engineering, Automotive Air Conditioning, Batteries, Loom Manufacturing, Powertools, Automotive Products, and Radio Communications, is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented sales professional. With a strong presence in Ashburton, Rolleston, and Timaru, we are looking for someone to elevate our Radio Communications division and drive its future success. We would prefer this position to be based in Rolleston but would consider being based in Ashburton to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilise market insights to target potential trade customers and grow the Radio Communications division.
Engage with customers through a solutions-based sales approach, ensuring their needs are met.
Negotiate and close sales deals, maximizing opportunities and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with trade clients and consumers.
Proactively follow up with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address any queries.
Lead the development and execution of sales campaigns to generate leads and promote our products.
Represent Newlands at tradeshows, conferences, and events to build new business relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer service, ideally within radio communications.
Experience with mobile communication technologies.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with E-Commerce platforms.
Strong communication skills with a passion for new business development.
A customer-centric attitude and drive to succeed.
