Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus at Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.
The Opportunity
Are you an enthusiastic Radiation Therapist who would like to be part of an exciting new future happening here in Palmerston North, New Zealand? We are looking for skilled people to join our team!!

The Regional Cancer Treatment Service (RCTS) is the non-surgical cancer treatment provider for the central North Island, covering a population of 550,000. All radiation treatment is currently located in Palmerston North however, there are exciting plans in development to locate new linacs closer to home for our patients in the Hawkes Bay and Taranaki regions.

We have four linacs and equipment from Varian, Siemens, Elekta and RaySearch. We have recently completed a replacement programme with the installation of a Siemens Confidence CT, RayStation treatment planning and three Varian Truebeams.

We have an established IMRT, IGRT and Stereotactic programmes and a strong culture of continuous improvement and development of both staff and technology. We are a social department with great people to work with from all over New Zealand and the world.
Applicants for this role will have: The ability to obtain New Zealand registration as a Radiation Therapist with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board (NZ) and a practising certificateEnthusiasm with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in both the clinical and technical aspects of radiation therapy practiceKnowledge of current developments and world trends in radiation therapyCome and join us
