With 600 Resident Doctors employed at Waitaha Canterbury, you will join a team committed to serving their community. Ko waikoe | About You The position will be a fixed term role in Radiation Oncology from 27 January 2025 to 25 January 2026. As the position will be working in radiation oncology in a busy accredited training unit, you will work alongside the training registrars and have the opportunity to attend teaching and training sessions. You will be an integral part of the inpatient and outpatient team. This will provide an opportunity to explore firsthand if a career in radiation oncology is for you and give you vital background experience if you wish to apply for a training position in the field for the future. Minimum Requirements: Completed PGY1 and PGY2 year or equivalent You will have experience in a number of hospital departments. Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health. A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Maori and minority groups. You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
