There will be opportunity for collaboration with pathologists, radiologists, gynaecology oncologists, and medical oncologists. The applicant will have completed Phase 2 of RANZCR training and be eligible to work in New Zealand.Ideally suited to a fellow wanting to upskill in brachytherapy gynaecology before working in a radiation oncology department in New Zealand.By the end of the fellowship year, it is expected that the Fellow will be competent in the management of all gynae malignancies and specifically will meet the criteria to independently perform HDR brachytherapy for intra-cavitary and interstitial sites.Approximately 50% of time will be allocated to clinical work, and 50% to research/service development.Vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)FRANZCR or equivalent to be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZWork in collaboration with multidisciplinary teamAble to provide consistently high standards of medical careRelevant experience and trainingCapital, Coast and Hutt Valley district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region.
