Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.
Monday to Friday (inclusive) 7:00am – 5:00 pm. (To be adjusted to work with site measures that are required after hours from time to time). Minimum of 30 hours per week.
Saturday maybe required from time to time again to be determined by future orders placed on the business
REQUIREMENTS:
2 years work experience OR Level 4 Qualification relevant to Carpentry/Joinery

To complete all tasks assigned with a level of professionalism in a timely manner and with a focus on quality. To provide a professional image when communicating with customers and ensure company is portrayed in a positive light at all times.All machinery/ computers and equipment must be operated in the correct manner in accordance with operators Manuel appropriate to the machine. Ensure all warm up and set up steps including calibrations as required, are completed prior to the operation of any machinery.
The role of a Racking/Cabinetry Installer involves the setup, refurbishment, and maintenance of various wooden structures and fixtures, using materials such as wood, plywood, and wallboard among others. This position demands attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and assembling components as required. Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installationprocedures.
Select and order timbers and materials for projects, ensuring suitability and quality.
Prepare layouts to optimize resource utilization.
Cut materials to size and shape as required.
Assemble wood components and securely fasten them together using appropriate methods.
Construct structures and fittings according to specifications for installation.
Perform repairs on existing fittings as necessary to maintain functionality.
Work with different types of metals and materials for specialized tasks when required.
Health & Safety PolicyAll safety steps must be taken to ensure the safe operation of any machinery in the factory/office or onsite and the appropriate clothing & foot ware, hearing protection and goggles are worn, to ensure all safety risks are controlled and mitigated for the Staff member concerned and any others that may be present or effected during any operation. All Staff members are responsible for their safety and are to ensure all steps are taken to ensure the safety of other employees/customers/staff or others who may be in the factory/office or onsite during the operation of any machinery, vehicles, or equipment.
Special hazards: work site. It is the staff member's responsibility to ensure any work area on site is accessed and deemed safe before any work is undertaken. If a staff member has any concerns about the safety of any work site, the concerns are to be immediately communicated to the Principals / Owners. Access to the factory is strictly restricted to Staff, Contractors, and Owners, No children are to be allowed access to the working site under any circumstances or have access to any equipment, or chemicals on-site at any time.
