We are looking for a self-motivated Quarry Operator to join our Gisborne Quarry's mobile operations team. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating a wide range of quarry plant including diggers, loaders and dump trucks. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and close-knit team, who share your passion for operating heavy plant. You will have ongoing opportunity to develop your skillset in quarry plant operations.
This position requires flexibility, you must be able to work overtime, weekends and work away from home when required. We provide a staying away allowance, accommodation and your travel is paid for. You will need to be based in the Ruatoria or Tokomaru Bay areas to work from our quarries.

We're looking for someone with: Minimum Class 1 full licence, ideally Class 2 full licence WTR endorsements with experience operating diggers, loaders and dump trucks Minimum of 2 years operating heavy machinery experience Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team Quarry operations knowledge will be beneficial Good understanding of site safety and hazard management Excellent communication with co-workers and management Community Engagement Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
